Hello, I'm Maureen Garrett.  On December 6, after a well-fought and courageous battle with the disease ALS, Michael Zaslow passed away.   Today, as a tribute to Michael, we'd like to show you an episode that aired originally  in July, 1993.  We feel this represents Michael as a character and as an actor on Guiding Light.   Michael was very proud of this episode, and we're proud to share it with you. 

Michael won an Emmy for Lead Actor in a Daytime Drama that year.   We feel very fortunate to have worked with him and to have known him.  Your friends at Guiding Light salute you Michael, for your talent and your courage. We miss you.
