Father Campion [shaking his hand]:  Congratulations David.

David: Oh, thank you, Father. I can't tell you how happy I am that you were able to fill in on such short notice.

Father Campion:  My pleasure.  Father McGehee was sorry he couldn't be here to see you through this time, but he sends his best wishes for a full life.

David:  Please thank him for us. We plan to be deliriously happy.  [David smiles as he watches Jenny with Larry].

Father Campion:  Oh,  I can see that.

Larry [kissing and hugging her]:  Jen, I'm so happy for you!

Jenny [laughing]:  Well, having the two of you here has really made it special.

Larry:  Good!

Jenny [glancing at Cassie]:  I see a bridesmaid over there that needs some attention. I'll talk to you later.

Larry:  Okay hon.

Jenny:  Those aren't tears, are they?  This is supposed to be a very happy occasion!

Cassie:  I'm very happy!  [Jenny hugs her].  Oh, it was so beautiful!

Jenny:  Thanks.  Oh, I'm so glad that you and Larry were here!

Cassie:  I just wish I'd brought a camera, so you could have something to remember  this by.

Jenny:  Well, you know,  I now have a very adorable, handsome, brilliant, fantastic husband, so I think that's all I need.

Cassie:  Mrs. Jenny Renaldi.  You know, you're gonna have to get used to people calling you that?

Jenny:  That's true. I think it sounds perfect, don't you?

Cassie:  Perfect!  And you're right.  David is a lot better than pictures of David!

Jenny [looking at David]:  Yeah.  Since you don't have any mementos, how would you like my home-made bouquet?

Cassie:  Oh, I'd love it, thank you!

Jenny:  Want me to throw it to you?

Cassie:  No!  I don't think I'm ready to be next!

Jenny [handing her the bouquet, quietly]:  Okay.  Can I ask you a favor?

Cassie:  Of course.

Jenny:  Would you not tell anybody that David and I are married, not quite yet?

Cassie: I don't understand, why not?

Jenny:  Well, we just want to choose the right time to tell people, okay?

Cassie:  Sure.

Jenny:
  You don't sound sure.

Cassie [smiling, reassuring]:  Don't worry about me on your wedding night.

Jenny: Okay.

Larry:  David, I want to thank you ...

David:  Oh, come on ...

Larry: ...for letting me be your best man.

David:  Come on.  You've got it backwards. It is I who must thank you, and do.

Larry:  It was my privilege watching you and Jenny take your vows, especially after all you've been through.

David:  Yes, listen, Jenny told me what happened between you and Laurel, and I don't know what to say.  I'm very sorry.

Larry:  Don't worry. I'll find out what's going on.  I care too much about her to let it end this way.

A few minutes later ...

Jenny [approaching David and then kissing him]:  It's just me, Mrs. Renaldi.

David:  Ohhh .... [they hug each other tightly]

Jenny [suddenly]:  I'm worried about Cassie.

David [surprised]:  Why?

Jenny:  Well, because here we are going off on our honeymoon, and she has to go home and see Dorian and lie to her about where she was tonight, and I asked Cassie not to say anything, and I feel bad about it now.

David:  I know ...don't feel bad.  Look, I feel the same way. Larry can't figure out what happened, why Laurel stopped seeing him, and I can't say anything to him either.

Jenny:  I hate lying to people and we keep doing that.

David:  I've got a solution, something we can do to stop it right now.

Jenny:  Anything. If it's going to help matters, it's worth it.

Larry and Cassie approach them ...

Larry:  Excuse us you two ... sorry to interrupt but we wanted to end this ceremony traditionally.  [To Cassie]: You ready?

Cassie starts counting ... 1-2-3 ... and then she and Larry yell "Good luck"  as they throw rice on Jenny and David.

Jenny [laughing]:  Oh, great!

David [shakes his head, eyes still closed, smiling]: I knew that was coming.

Cassie:  This wedding happened so fast that Larry bought the instant kind!

Larry:  Well, it was cheap, on sale, what the heck?

Jenny:  Instant rice?  Oh, that's wonderful!  I don't mind instant rice, I just want the marriage to last forever! [She turns to kiss and hug David, and then turns back to hug Cassie]:  I'm very happy to be a part of your family.  Thank both of you for being here.

Cassie:  Thank you.  Oh, and I have some exciting news to tell you guys, if it's not too immodest of me to bring it up now.

David:  Come on, come on!  Out with it!

Cassie:  Well, I am valedictorian of the class of '84!

David:  That's terrific Cassie!  That's wonderful!

Cassie:  Thank you.  Now you two go and have a wonderful honeymoon!

David:  Oh, thank you honey.  Thanks for coming again!

As David and Jenny walk away, David exclaims:  We really did it!
