Strasser Finds Time To Play "Wife"!

Robin Strasser (Dorian) has landed the title role in "The Tale Of The Allergist's Wife", opening January 7 at The Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, New Jersey.  "I wouldn't have thought it could work out, especially with [One Life To Live's taping] schedule," says the actress, who auditioned (for the other female role) in the 2000 Broadway production.  Yet timing is everything, so when rehearsals were pushed back to mid-December --- at which time OLTL is dark --- it all fell into place.

"[OLTL executive producer] Frank Valentini has been wonderful," says Strasser.  "He told me I need to do it, and it'll make me stronger for the show.  So I'm thrilled!"

Strasser, whose stage credits include Broadway's "The Shadow Box" and "Chapter Two", calls her "Wife" character "a wannabe intellectual having a breakdown.  I was born to play it!"  For tickets, call (973) 376-4343.
